Bonjour!

Hey there, I'm Jeanne!

I'm French and American, and I pronounce my name as "Jane." I grew up in France for the first 10 years of my life in a village called Weyersheim. Moving around the world has made me passionate about learning and meeting many different kinds of people and hearing their stories.

I am a designer who had the privilege to study Industrial Design at Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!). I begun my long "figure-out-what-you-want-to-study" journey in 2019, trialed between Environmental Science and Business (with a minor in Chemistry) and became an Industrial Designer when meeting a student in the program. The moment she talked about the major, I knew this was what I wanted to do, so I made the switch into the 4-year program in my junior year of college.

What has the program taught me? That designing isn't just about being artistic; it's all about the journey we take and the relationships we build, from trends and research to aesthetics and how design connects people. Design is not a solitary journey.

When I'm not designing, I enjoy walking outside, looking at the stars, riding trains, trying on clothes at Reformation, watching documentaries, cooking new recipes, and playing the New York Times Games in the morning (I had a 97-day winning Wordle streak).

My favorite _______

  • song: "Vienna" by Billy Joel

  • flower: Red Poppy Flowers

  • place: Tokyo, Japan
